Whew we had a busy weekend! So busy, in fact, that it has taken me nearly the entire week to get back to normal (and back to blogging) – so hello Decatur, it’s been a while.
So on Halloween weekend Sarah Jane Photography had quite the adventure in the Portrait Even arena! Friday and Saturday we were at The Scream Haunted Adventure, Saturday we were ALSO there in the afternoon for their kid-friendly Friendly Monster Day. AND Sunday we caped off our weekend at Scovill Zoo for Boo At the Zoo. I have to say the kiddos were the most fun! It was so great to see all the popular costumes this year (and thanks to Toy Story 3, I luckily had some familiar faces along side all the new cartoons of this decade).
Some of the little ones that made BIG impressions are below. Of course, we loved all the kiddos we photographed that night, but these left us smiling long after we left. I hope they put a smile on your face too!
We told Ghostbuster here, I had a ghost in my lens to catch his attention… after informing us that no he had the ghost (pointing to the one in his hand), my plan backfired with him NOT wanting to look in the lens. HA, sometimes the tricks just don’t work – but he was great and we got him laughing and smiling in no time. 🙂
Our little blue monster was a doll, all smiles and happy!
Buzz was a blast! Everything I did, he did with flare…
ME: “Say Pickles!” <lifts hands above head>
Buzz: “PICKLES!!!!” <throws hands in air>
Aw… sometimes a plan does work! Monkey see, Monkey do 😉
Our little clown at the Scream was cute as a button, even Ryan was all smiles with this little one around. She had fun bopping me on the nose with her wand and we captured this one with her getting ready for another wave.
Aptly named “Witch #1” by us, and introduced as “Lennon Witch” by her, this little one was adorable! She is a smart girl and knows where that candy goes… though Elmo is not a part of the intended costume, she was not too ready to let him go to dad… that’s my girl – keep that candy in sight! Is this girl ready for the magazines or what… that pose is all her!
